Hello,

Just curious: Is there any technical reason for this recent change in
the CVS version of CLN, or is that just for (non)readability?

        * Makefile.in: Convert from $(VAR) to ${VAR} syntax.
        * benchmarks/Makefile.in: Likewise.
        [...]
