I've tried feeding your code snippet with random values and did not find
any segfault either with CLN 1.1.9 or 1.1.11. You should always send a
self-contained example program that exhibits the problem so that someone
on this list can reproduce it.

But wait! The find_modint_ring(const cl_I&) and related functions were
the reason for the soname bump between 1.1.9 and 1.1.10: this sector of
CLN is not compatible on a binary level any more. Did you somehow manage
to compile with CLN >= 1.1.10 headers and link against a library <=
1.1.9 or vize-versa?!?

Regards
-richy.
