First, I think this is a good opportunity to summarize some private 
exchange that occurred during the last few days between Jens, Alexei and 
myself (and Christian was consulted, too):

Starting now, Alexei Sheplyakov will become one of the maintainers and 
obtain direct write access to, well, whatever we're going to agree on.
