[GiNaC-devel] Releasing?

Hi!

Does anybody have plans for releasing? Doing releases may have become
unpopular among developers since the current version can always easily
be pulled off from git. On the other hand, we've had quite a number of
improvements and build fixes since 1.6.2, so it might be a good
opportunity to officially get all this released. What do others think?
And, in particular, @Alex and @Vladimir: do you have things in the pipeline?
